String Stand Eito
ストリングスタンド イイト
Tucked into a Takenotsuka residential neighborhood, String Stand Eito serves fragrant Japanese-wheat toast, soft chiffon sandwiches, and carefully brewed coffee in a calm setting.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Set along a quiet residential street in Takenotsuka, String Stand Eito pairs a tennis and badminton racquet restringing workshop with a welcoming neighborhood cafe. The wood-toned interior carries a gentle, unhurried atmosphere, making it just as pleasant for a solo coffee break as it is for anyone seeking a peaceful breath of calm during the day.
The light savory menu revolves around toast baked with domestically grown wheat. Designed to be enjoyed day after day without growing tiresome, the bread forms the base for a simple butter toast, a cheese toast enriched with a discreet layer of white sauce, and a heartier slice layered with ham and Camembert cheese.
Come dessert time, visitors turn to rotating seasonal cakes, parfaits, and chiffon cake fruit sandwiches that wrap fresh fruit inside light, bouncy sponge. The baked goods are crafted from carefully chosen ingredients, including pastured eggs and Yotsuba butter, with house-made ice cream churned to accompany them.
To drink alongside the sweets, the cafe serves house blend coffee brewed cup by cup from beans roasted by Sapporo's ritarucoffee, alongside slow-dripped cold brew. A refreshing honey lemon soda made with house-infused lemon honey syrup offers a bright alternative, giving guests plenty of ways to enjoy a relaxing cafe pause.
